From the earliest Disney films to the latest Kaiju blockbuster movie, the notion of humans transforming from their natural state into that of something horrifically foreign from anything they've ever known, especially if it's mingled with a creature from another world, or worse yet, the wet one underneath all that we walk upon, is both a fascination and a terror to my senses. We see the human form, be it an eye or a limb, in all of creation. Two eyes, a nose, a mouth, sometimes more than one of each or less than two, but the DNA is there, in various mixtures.
